(EL PASO ISD – Feb. 3, 2023) – Congratulations to El Paso ISD’s seven students earning all-state honors. El Paso ISD is home to all but two of the all-state choir students in the area.  

The seven students will perform at the Texas Music Educators Association state convention in San Antonio later this month. 

The students are:

• Bella Duke, Coronado HS: Soprano 1, 4th Chair 

• Denna Al-Dahwi, Coronado HS: Alto 2, 6th Chair 

• Lauren Allen, Franklin HS: Alto 2, 3rd Chair 

• Madellyne Spataro, Coronado HS: Soprano 2, 4th Chair 

• Miguel Vasquez, Burges HS: Bass 1, 5th Chair 

• Sophia Spier, Coronado HS: Alto 2, 1st Chair 

• Zach Dumond, Coronado: Tenor 1, 4th Chair
