Whitaker Rainbows use mascot for artistic inspiration
(WHITAKER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL -- Feb. 4, 2019) —The Whitaker Elementary Rainbows used their mascot as inspiration last week during an exercise designed to improve their social and emotional learning skills.
With the help of soldiers from Fort Bliss’ 123rd Brigade Support Battalion, the students took part in an “I Painted That” celebration where students helped paint colorful trees with a rainbow of colors to display the B.E.A.M. Philosophy:
Be responsible.
Earn respect
Always be safe
Make someone’s day better.
Way to go Rainbows!
