EPISD wins 31 Texas School Public Relations Association awards
(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT -- Feb. 24, 2021) — EPISD’s Office of Community Engagement won 31 Texas School Public Relations Association STAR Awards, including four Best of Category, for work done in promotion of the students and staff of the District.
The Star Awards are presented in categories that celebrate public relations efforts of school communication offices throughout Texas. EPISD competes in the largest category for districts with more than 30,000 students.
“This year’s winning entries reflect the amazing work the staff did in promoting the amazing students, teacher and programs in EPISD,” said Chief Communications Officer Melissa Martinez. “The awards are a reflection of the high-quality teaching and learning that is happening in every corner of the District, and we are more than proud to be able to share these stories with the rest of Texas.”
EPISD received the following Gold Star Awards:
