The Annual EPISD District Address, to benefit the EPISD Education Foundation, will be March 29 at the Wyndham Hotel. The third annual event  will highlight District talent and showcase innovation in learning in EPISD.

The Foundation is reaching out to the El Paso community and EPISD partners to sponsor the event, which will highlight the innovation in education in EPISD. This District Address  raises funds for the EPISD Foundation to fund scholarships for the Class of 2018 and Classroom Impact Grants for teachers to do innovative, out-of-the-box projects in their classrooms. The Foundation gave more than $120,000 back to EPISD teachers and students through grants and scholarships. 

Since the Foundation’s inception in 1994, the EPISD Education Foundation has provided nearly $2 million in grants and scholarships to benefit students and teachers of the El Paso Independent School District. The Foundation, operated by a volunteer board with no paid staff, is affiliated with the Paso del Norte Foundation to reduce overhead and administrative expenses and ensure maximum transparency and accountability. More than 95 percent of contributions go directly to support students and teachers.
