El Paso ISD it starts with us Back to School Fiesta July 30 & 31 from 6 to 7:30 PM

(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT – July 11, 2024) — El Paso ISD is excited to announce its 2nd annual Back to School Fiesta, a districtwide celebration that promises to bring energy and unity to the new school year. Fiestas will be held at the 10 traditional high schools, each hosting an event tailored for their feeder patterns. The aim is to strengthen connections between district campuses and the communities they serve.

The event will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 30 and Wednesday July 31, at 10 high schools in the district.

The festivities will feature information booths, providing families an opportunity to gather essential details about their campuses while enjoying a vibrant, festive atmosphere. Additionally, elementary students will receive school supplies during their meet-and-greet with teachers, while secondary students will have access to school supply kits in the classroom.

"El Paso ISD is committed to fostering a sense of community and collaboration, ensuring that our schools and neighborhoods thrive together,” El Paso ISD Superintendent Diana Sayavedra said. “It's an opportunity for families to connect with their schools, gather important information, and kick off the new school year with enthusiasm and support."
