(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT – Feb. 15, 2024) — Three El Paso ISD boys basketball teams were crowned district champions in three different conferences. Bowie High School led the pack in the District 1-4A division followed by Austin and Irvin high schools.
In District 1-5A, Chapin ranked No. 1 while Andress finished second and El Paso finished third.
In District 1-6A, Franklin tied Americas High School for the top spot in the conference. Both teams will meet on the court Friday, Feb. 16, to determine seeding in their subsequent bi-district matchups.
