(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT – Feb. 14, 2024) — El Paso ISD schools are spreading love and kindness this Valentine’s Day.
Campuses throughout the district celebrated the holiday in unique and different ways. At Rivera Elementary School, teachers and staff kicked off the holiday by educating kids about the importance of spreading kindness and being generous to one another. It’s a part of the school’s spirit week initiative.
Students wore red shirts to mark the occasion. The little ones also traded Valentine’s Day cards, candy, smiles, and even some hugs.
Rivera Elementary School will continue its random acts of kindness week through Tuesday, Feb. 20.
