(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT – October 18, 2024) — El Paso ISD proudly announces the appointment of Jacqueline Solosabal as the new principal of Hornedo Middle School. Solosabal brings a wealth of experience in education, having worked across various districts in Texas and Arizona over the past 16 years.
Solosabal's journey in education has been distinguished by her commitment to student success and school improvement. Most recently, she served as Assistant Principal at Hornedo Middle School, where she demonstrated strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of instructional programs and campus-level operations. Prior to this, she held teaching positions and facilitated academic interventions including at Franklin High School and United Independent School District in Laredo.
With a Master of Science in Educational Administration from Texas A&M International University, Solosabal is known for her exceptional organizational skills, energetic leadership, and dedication to fostering a positive school environment. Her passion for education and her ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and staff will be instrumental in driving Hornedo Middle School’s continued success.
