(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT – January 6, 2025) — Lisa Mendez, Assistant Director for Fund Development at the El Paso Independent School District (EPISD) and former Project Manager for the DoDEA Grant, has been named the recipient of the prestigious 2024 DoDEA INSPIRE Award for the South-Central Region. This recognition celebrates her outstanding implementation of innovative practices in DoDEA grant-funded projects and her ability to inspire excellence among her peers.
The DoDEA INSPIRE Award is presented annually to one Project Director in each Community of Practice region who demonstrates exceptional leadership, innovation, and commitment to education.
