(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT — July 24, 2025) — The El Paso ISD Department of Communications has earned national honors for outstanding school communications from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA), bringing home multiple accolades across key categories in the 2025 Golden Achievement and Publication and Digital Media Excellence Awards.

The district was recognized with two prestigious NSPRA Golden Achievement Awards, honoring strategic communications projects that achieved measurable success:
State of the District: Celebrated for elevating community awareness and engagement through a multimedia event showcasing the district’s progress, student success, and future-focused initiatives.
Destination District Redesign: Recognized for its comprehensive communication efforts throughout the process to help inform the community. The campaign was noted for providing resources through the redesign process.
Additionally, El Paso ISD earned top recognition for Website Excellence for its newly redesigned website, launched for the 2024-25 school year. The updated site features improved user experience, streamlined navigation, mobile responsiveness, innovative parent-teacher communications, and a modern visual identity that reflects the district’s renewed commitment to accessibility and transparency.
