TMECHS Graduations

A Message from Transmountain Early College High School Principal Robert Stives:

At Transmountain Early College High School, we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to achieve more, and to dream big, work hard, and graduate with a head start on their future. As one of El Paso ISD’s premier T-STEM campuses, TMECHS offers students the unique opportunity to earn both a high school diploma and an Associate’s Degree from El Paso Community College — all before graduation day.

Through our strong partnership with El Paso Community College and the University of Texas at El Paso, our students engage in rigorous coursework, hands-on research, and real-world experiences that prepare them for success in college and beyond. Many even begin taking university-level classes while still in high school, giving them a true advantage as they pursue degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.

Our dedicated faculty, most of whom hold advanced degrees, are committed to inspiring and challenging every student. We pride ourselves on maintaining an environment where excellence is the standard and relationships are at the heart of everything we do.

At TMECHS, students don’t just prepare for the future; they shape it. Our graduates leave ready to lead, innovate, and make a difference in their communities and around the world.

To our future Mavericks and their families: Transmountain Early College High School is the place to be because we give students the opportunity to achieve academic excellence, earn college credit, and unlock their full potential — all in a supportive, close-knit community.

Join us for Transmountain Early College High School’s Program Night on Friday, Oct. 24, from 5 to 9 p.m. to meet our incredible teachers, explore our programs, and learn how your student can soar at TMECHS.

We can’t wait to welcome you to the Maverick family!
