A Message from Jefferson High School:
Jefferson High School invites families and future Foxes to explore the exciting academic and extracurricular opportunities available on our historic campus. As we prepare for the 2025–2026 school year, we are proud to continue a tradition of excellence built on high expectations, supportive relationships, and a unified commitment to student success.
For more than 75 years, Jefferson has stood as a cornerstone of education in our community. From its founding in 1949 on the grounds of Burleson Elementary, the campus has grown into a vibrant learning environment rooted in strong values, rich traditions, and a legacy summarized best by a phrase generations of students know well: “Once a Fox — Always a Fox.”
Today, our mission remains clear:
Two schools. One campus. One heartbeat.
We are dedicated to preparing students for college, careers, and life by fostering academic excellence, leadership, creativity, and responsibility. With a focus on rigorous coursework, community partnerships, and a positive school culture, Jefferson continues to empower students to reach their highest potential.
Program Night is a perfect opportunity to:
Learn about academic programs and college-readiness initiatives
Meet teachers, counselors, and student leaders
Discover extracurricular activities, athletics, clubs, and fine arts
Explore what makes Jefferson/Silva a truly special place to learn and grow
We invite all families to join us and see firsthand how our campus is shaping the next generation of leaders, innovators, and scholars.
