El Paso ISD Board Meeting

(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT – Jan. 23, 2026) — El Paso ISD proudly recognizes several high school seniors who have earned national academic recognition through the QuestBridge National College Match program and the National Merit Scholarship Program.

“These recognitions reflect the exceptional dedication, resilience, and academic excellence of our students,” said El Paso ISD Superintendent Dr. Brian Lusk. “Whether through QuestBridge or the National Merit Scholarship Program, these students demonstrate what is possible when talent is supported by strong families, committed educators, and high expectations. We are incredibly proud of each of them and look forward to celebrating their continued success.”

National Merit Semifinalists Recognized for Academic Achievement

In addition, several EPISD students have been named National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalists, a prestigious academic distinction based on outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT.

QuestBridge is a highly competitive national initiative that connects high-achieving students from low-income backgrounds with admission and scholarship opportunities at some of the nation’s most selective colleges and universities. EPISD students recognized through the QuestBridge process this year represent multiple campuses across the district.
