Dear El Paso ISD Community,
Fall break allows a moment to reflect on the academic year thus far and I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to our incredible teachers and staff. We have seen a remarkable increase in teacher attendance across our campuses this year, and that consistency in the classroom directly fuels student growth, confidence, and achievement. I also want to extend a special thank-you to our Central Office team members who continue to step in and provide substitute coverage. By getting directly into classrooms, our administrators are building a stronger bridge between central administration and our schools, ensuring learning continues without interruption.
As a reminder, our district enters Fall Intersession this week, running from September 28 through October 2, 2026. During this week, El Paso ISD is providing focused support on strengthening reading, language arts, and math skills, alongside a full-day Pre-K–Pre-1st program dedicated to early literacy and math development for emergent bilingual students.
Whether your child is attending intersession or taking time to recharge, I wish all of our students, families, and staff a wonderful, restful, and safe Fall Break!
