One year ago, Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons made his first visit to El Paso for the All the Way charity softball game. After receiving a warm welcome from the community, Parsons vowed to return. Parsons delivered on his promise when he recently returned to host "The Lions Den" youth football camp at the historic El Paso High School R.R. Jones Stadium. The camp was a great success, attracting 600 enthusiastic young athletes aged six to 16, all eager to improve their football skills and learn from the renowned NFL player. Amidst the lively football drills, Parsons took the opportunity to share valuable life lessons, motivate the campers, and stress the importance of strong character and a love for the sport. Parsons also interacted with the students, capturing memorable moments through photos and signing autographs, making a lasting impact and inspiring the athletes. #ItStartsWithUs

Visual art students from Bobby Joe Hill PK-8 School and El Paso High School were honored during a ceremony in May at the El Paso Zoo. The talented students created original artwork for the zoo, embodying the values of conservation and animal appreciation.
