Pathways in Technology Early College High School will welcome its first cohort of students in the 2022-2023 school year.

Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools (P-TECHS) are innovative open-enrollment high schools that allow students an opportunity to receive both a high school diploma and an Associate Degree and/or an industry certification.

Andress High School P-TECHS Teacher Education in partnership with El Paso Community College (EPCC) will be offering students an opportunity to earn the following: Associate Degree of Arts in Education.

Transfer Students:
The academy will accept up to 125 ninth-grade students per year, and students will move together as a cohort as they progress through high school. 

FAQ

Who can apply to Andress' P-TECH?
Any current EPISD 8th grader can apply.

Does P-TECH take transfer students?
Yes, in district and out of district incoming 9th graders can apply to P-TECH.

What do I have to do before enrolling in Andress' P-TECH?
Students within the EPISD district will have to complete the application here

Transfer students - the EPISD transfer registration process must be completed here - before enrolling with our P-TECH.

How will I know if I am accepted to P-TECH?
Students accepted into the program will receive notification of acceptance via email and/or acceptance letter.

Are there any entrance exams?
No, there are no exams necessary. Taking the TSI2 is recommended. The TSI2 is a college entry exam that students will take in order to be able to take college credited courses.
