Dear El Paso ISD Community,
When our students can see it, they can be it. The video above exemplifies the type of learning, innovation, and opportunity we want every student to experience throughout their high school years. Rigorous programming is a critical part of our work, and we remain committed to expanding, not reducing, opportunities that support college, career and military readiness across our district.
One of the things I value most about El Paso ISD is the many pathways we offer to help students discover their potential and prepare for what comes next. We are proud to offer a wide range of academic opportunities, including Advanced Placement courses, dual credit, Early College, and P-TECH programs, giving students the chance to challenge themselves, earn college credit and build a strong foundation for their futures.
There is no single definition of success, and there should not be a single pathway to achieving it. Whether a student is preparing for a four-year university, earning an associate degree, pursuing an industry certification or entering the workforce, El Paso ISD is committed to providing the opportunities and support our students need to take their next step with confidence.
And to continue to provide unmatched opportunities for our students, we have to ensure El Paso ISD remains on solid footing.
We are committed to making considered decisions and ensuring that our resources are aligned with the needs of our students and schools. There is still work to do, but our district is in a strong financial position, and that means more stability for our staff, and even more resources being directed to our classrooms for our students. Federal Impact Aid Form
I encourage all El Paso ISD families to take a few minutes to complete the Federal Impact Aid Form. Your participation helps us better understand the families we serve and ensures El Paso ISD receives the support available to provide meaningful educational opportunities and resources for our students. The form can be completed through the link shared by email or through the Parent Portal under your student’s name and “Parent Forms.” Click here to learn more.
Going Gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness
On Friday, Sept. 25, El Paso ISD will recognize Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by wearing gold. I encourage our students, staff and families to join us as we come together to show support for children and families affected by childhood cancer. Together, we can help raise awareness and remind our community that no child or family faces this journey alone.
