Students celebrating 100 days of school

(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT – January 31, 2025) — El Paso ISD students, teachers, and families from across the district came together this week to celebrate an exciting milestone—the 100th day of the 2024-25 school year! This cherished tradition brought creativity and fun to classrooms everywhere, with students dressing up as centenarians or donning clothes adorned with 100 items to mark the occasion.

From gray wigs and glasses to colorful shirts covered in stickers, and buttons, the event provided a memorable way for students to reflect on their journey through the first 100 days of learning. The event offered more than just a reason to dress up; it reinforced important lessons and life skills. By engaging in themed activities like counting to 100, grouping items, promoting kindness, or writing reflections about what they’ve learned so far, students develop their math, language, and critical thinking skills in an interactive and hands-on way.

Throughout the district, students participated in activities like creating posters featuring 100 words they’ve learned, building towers with 100 blocks, and reading stories that celebrate the number 100.
