What an incredible conclusion to the 2026 World Cup yesterday! Spain hoisted the trophy after a masterful display of teamwork, tactical brilliance, and pure preparedness. I have witnessed that same spirit of togetherness and teamwork here in the Borderland and on our campuses. It is that commitment to aspiring to the highest expectations that we must also adhere to as we work to deliver success for every child in El Paso.
We’ve already seen it, from our academic champions performing in classrooms across the district, to El Paso ISD’s homegrown heroes like Alejandro Zendejas, Stephanie Han, and the Jones brothers competing on the world stage. When we empower our students with the appropriate support, there is nothing they can’t achieve; that is what our staff is actively preparing to do. As we count down the final weeks until August 3, let’s carry that championship mindset into the new school year!

The El Paso ISD Transportation Department is committed to providing families with the best transportation options and maximum accessibility for students. Along with the release of the bus routes for the 2026-27 school year, El Paso ISD is introducing Stopfinder—a free, secure mobile application that allows parents and guardians to track their child’s school bus location and schedules in real time.
