Dear Parents and Families,

I hope this message finds you well! I’m reaching out to let you know that I’m collecting gently used kids' clothing to make available for our students on campus. If you have any items you'd like to part with, I would truly appreciate it if they could be washed beforehand. This way, our students can find essentials that will help them feel comfortable and confident.

Every little bit helps, whether it’s casual wear, school outfits, or cozy winter essentials. Any items can be dropped off at the front office or with me, Ms. Castillo. 😊
Thank you so much for your support!

Warm regards,

Barron Families,

Good evening,

Please remember that the designated handicap parking spaces are reserved for vehicles displaying the proper plates or placards. We kindly ask that only those with valid handicap permits use these spots to ensure accessibility for everyone who needs it.

Also, please avoid blocking access to these spaces or adjacent areas to keep them available and safe for all.

Anyone needing a handicap parking space should use the second lane to enter the school and access these parking spots safely.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a welcoming and accessible environment for all families.

Warm regards,
Ms. Vasquez, Proud Principal at B.E.S.

Dear Barron Families,

We are truly grateful for the collaboration, patience, and support from everyone this week. Together as Pioneers, we are living the vision of BES, where every Pioneer learns and belongs!

Thank you for an amazing first week of school. Our focus remains on safety and ensuring every child is supported in a safe learning environment across our campus. We look forward to another wonderful week ahead.

Barron practiced their first fire drill this week and children did a great job of following directions from their Teachers and support staff. We will continue to improve our efforts to ensure safe evacuation and accounting for every Pioneer.

The lunch menu for the week is attached.

Please don’t forget to sign up in ROOMs to stay connected with your child's teacher and school. If you need any assistance, feel free to stop by the office.

Warm regards,

Ms. Vasquez,

Connect with your teacher, school and district! El Paso ISD App. It Starts With Us!

Dear Barron Families,

Thank you joining us on the first day of school! It was a joy to see so many of you joining your child in class this morning. During recess and lunch, our students met all expectations, and after school dismissal, we safely returned every student to their families.

A special thank you to our PK3 and PK4 parents for your patience during dismissal—it means a lot as we get routines settled. Our teachers, paras, and I met today to discuss areas for improvement. To keep PK3 and PK4 families informed, teachers will be sending a daily note home. If there is an urgent need to meet, teachers will invite you to the front office for a conference or follow-up call. Teachers and paras are still learning students’ names and classrooms, so please allow up to two weeks for routines to become solid. Thank you to all parents driving through and allowing me to guide you into the backstreet. For families walking through the backstreet, you may also park in front of the school and walk onto campus, especially with the hot weather.

All teachers are working on establishing routines and rituals, and will be sending home clear classroom expectations along with additional practice activities to support learning at home.

If you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to call the office to speak with me or Ms. Croissant, our Assistant Principal.

Thank you again Barron Families!
Your proud principal at BES, where Pioneers learn and belong!
