The Bowie High School Athletic Department is dedicated to providing student-athletes with a rich co-curricular program that encourages our students to grow as individuals and leaders by experiencing the importance of being part of a team. The Bowie High School Athletic Department fosters commitment and loyalty to teamwork, pride, leadership, and fair play.

The Bowie High School Athletic Department strives to be an all inclusive program that provides access and opportunity for its student athletes; engages its community in review of regular program offerings and best practices; coordinates with its community partners; and place greater emphasis on sportsmanship, healthy lifestyle habits and safe exercise protocols.  

If you have high expectations for yourself and others, you should be a member of the Bowie Bears Football Team. We have very high expectations for you. The tradition that you are being asked to uphold at Bowie High School is the same tradition that your predecessors have worked so hard to establish.  Pura Bowie Familia!!!
