(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT – Sept. 23, 2026) — Due to current weather conditions, El Paso ISD is making the following changes to activities scheduled for today, Wednesday, Sept. 23:

Canceled

Middle school athletics: Baseball and softball games are canceled.

Postponed

Tennis: Today’s 4:30 p.m. tennis matches have been postponed until tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 24.

Homecoming parades: Austin and Burges high school homecoming parades are canceled and will be rescheduled.

Continuing as Scheduled

Extended Day: Extended Day will continue as scheduled at this time.

Football Freshman and JV football at Coronado High School: Games are scheduled to proceed if field conditions are playable and there is no lightning in the area. Freshman will play at 5:30 p.m., followed by JV at 7 p.m.
