(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT – September 24, 2024) — El Paso ISD is proud to announce Claudia Núñez as the new principal of Clendenin Elementary School. Núñez brings with her a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to student achievement and community engagement.
With over 18 years of experience in education, Núñez has served in various capacities, including Assistant Principal at Mission Valley Elementary since 2019. Her focus on curriculum development and data analysis has consistently led to improved student outcomes. Prior to her role as an assistant principal, she worked as a Math/Science Instructional Coach, where she facilitated effective staff development sessions and collaborated with key committees to enhance student success.
Núñez holds a Master’s degree in Reading Instruction from the University of Texas at El Paso and has dedicated her career to fostering academic growth and social development in her students. Her hands-on approach to learning and strong community involvement makes her well-suited to lead Clendenin Elementary into continued excellence.
