(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT – June 3, 2024) — El Paso ISD is proud to announce Sophia Fierro as the new principal of Zach White Elementary School.
Mrs. Fierro is a seasoned educator with over 20 years of experience. During her tenure she has served as a bilingual teacher, instructional specialist, coordinator, and assistant principal. Most recently, she served as a principal in the Ysleta Independent School District.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2002 from the University of Texas at El Paso and her master’s degree in educational administration in 2014 from Lamar University.
