Huge congratulations to former El Paso ISD student Alejandro Zendejas, who took the field for the U.S. Men’s Soccer team last week and showed our students what it looks like to live the dream!

Hello El Paso ISD,

With America preparing to celebrate 250 years of independence this week, we are reminded of our own rich history here in El Paso. For 143 years, El Paso ISD has stood as an unwavering pillar of this community. We have proudly navigated eras of profound change by prioritizing the stability and success of our classrooms. Public education remains the ultimate engine of opportunity for our city, and our long history is proof of our resilience.

As a reminder, all El Paso ISD campuses and administrative offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026. I hope our entire district family enjoys a safe and restful 4th of July weekend with loved ones.

Sincerely,

Dr. Brian Lusk
Superintendent of Schools

To ensure our district communications are clear, effective, and directly serving our families, we are launching the El Paso ISD Communication Advisory Committee. This diverse team of members, composed of parents, teachers, campus staff, students, and community partners, will provide vital feedback on district messaging, test new communication tools, and advise on community engagement.

If you want to help shape how El Paso ISD connects with our community, we invite you to apply.
