(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT – January 16, 2025) — Don Haskins PK-8 celebrated academic excellence and leadership with a special induction ceremony held on Tuesday, January 14 for the National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS). As one of the few schools in the region to offer NEHS, Don Haskins PK-8 continues to set a high standard for recognizing and fostering student achievement and personal responsibility.

The NEHS honors outstanding students in elementary schools across the country for their academic accomplishments, dedication to community service, and leadership potential. At Don Haskins PK-8, the program provides students with opportunities to strengthen their leadership skills while contributing meaningfully to the school and community.
