Franklin High School

A Message from Franklin High School:

At Franklin High School, our mission is simple yet powerful — to do what is right for students every day.

Located in the foothills of the majestic Franklin Mountains, our campus has been a cornerstone of the Westside community for more than three decades. Since opening our doors in 1993, Franklin has built a proud legacy of academic excellence, athletic achievement, and Cougar pride that continues to shine through every student who walks our halls.

Principal Amanda Bowser is an educator with over 20 years of experience and has been a proud member of the Franklin community for the past decade. She has had the privilege of seeing firsthand the heart, spirit, and determination that define our students and staff. From the classroom to the stage, and from the athletic fields to community service projects, Franklin Cougars exemplify what it means to lead with integrity, compassion, and purpose.

Our campus offers a wide range of advanced academic and extracurricular opportunities designed to prepare students for college, careers, and life. With a strong foundation in STEM, fine arts, and athletics, as well as numerous dual credit and AP courses, Franklin gives students the tools and confidence to pursue their passions and achieve their dreams.

To our future Cougars and their families: Franklin High School is the place to be because we are a community built on pride, perseverance, and purpose. Together, we help every student discover their potential and rise to excellence.

Join us for Franklin High School’s Program Night on Mon., Oct. 27, from 5:30 – 7 p.m. to explore our programs, meet our dedicated teachers, and experience the Cougar spirit that makes our campus truly special.

We can’t wait to welcome you to the Cougar family! 🐾
