Franklin High School Parking Rules and Regulations

At Franklin High School, we strive to ensure the safety and organization of our parking areas. Students who wish to park on campus must follow the rules and regulations outlined below.

Parking Rules:

  1. Driver Requirements: Students must have a valid Texas driver's license and current liability insurance.

  2. Parking Permit: Permits are valid only for the vehicle registered on this form. If the permit is lost, there will be a small replacement fee. If you purchase a new vehicle, the original permit becomes invalid.

  3. Multiple Vehicles: If you drive more than one vehicle, each must be registered separately.

  4. Permit Usage: Permits are not transferable and cannot be given to another person.

  5. Parking Availability: All parking is on a first-come, first-served basis.

  6. Driving Conduct: No reckless or careless driving is permitted in the parking lots.

  7. Parking Areas: Students must park in designated student parking areas only.

  8. Curb Parking: Parking against any curb is strictly prohibited.

Penalties for Violations:

  • 1st Violation: Parent will be notified.

  • 2nd Violation: Parking privileges will be withdrawn for 2 weeks, and parents will be notified.

  • 3rd Violation: Parking privileges will be revoked for the remainder of the semester, with parent notification.

  • 4th Violation: Loss of parking permit and privileges for the rest of the school year, parent notification, and a report to EPISD Police.

By following these rules, we can ensure a safe and efficient parking experience for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation!
