As we enter our third week of the month, we celebrate Martin Luther Kind Jr. Day to honor Dr. King's legacy of equality, justice, and nonviolence, and to serve our communities by continuing his vision of unity and positive change. To celebrate this special day, EPISD will be closed Monday, January 19, 2026.
As we move into January, we are focused on our STAAR academic push. Our team will be providing in-school support and after-school tutoring for students in grades 3–8 to help prepare for the April STAAR test. We are working hard toward an A rating, and student attendance and punctuality play a key role in this success ⏰✨

Tutoring takes place every Tuesday and Thursday ✏️
If your child is not participating in tutoring, please make arrangements to pick up their siblings on time.
🕒 Elementary Tutoring: 3:35 PM–4:05 PM
🕞 Middle School Tutoring: 3:00 PM–3:30 PM
