Dear Parents & Guardians,
Each week we work hard to make learning at Moye Elementary engaging and fun for all students. We’re also working to ensure our weekly attendance stays at 95% or higher.
For Week 8, our cumulative attendance rate was 93.25%, with unexcused absences being our highest absence reason (64 absences). Monday had the lowest attendance rate of the week at 91.13%, and 5th Grade currently has the lowest attendance grade level at 90.83%.
We especially need your help on Monday, October 6 and Tuesday, October 7 to boost our attendance. Please make every effort to have your child at school and on time. Every day counts toward their success!
Thank you for partnering with us to build strong habits and reach our attendance goal. Together we can do it! 💛🦁

We’re thrilled to share that our head football coach at IHS, Jonathan Elliott, has been named a finalist for the Game-Changing Coach Award 🏆 presented by Dave Campbell’s Texas Football in partnership with Ballogy. This honor places Coach Elliott among an elite group of just 60 coaches recognized across Texas for the 2025–26 season — and he’s the only coach nominated from El Paso, TX! 🌟
This is an incredible recognition for one of our very own EPISD coaches and a leader within our feeder pattern. 🙌 Let’s show him how much our community supports him!

The Texas Legislature recently passed a law requiring school districts to implement a cell phone policy. As a result, El Paso ISD adopted its new policy this school year.
Your valued input helps us understand how the policy affects teaching, learning, and the overall school environment. 🏫📝
Please check your email on Monday, Sept. 29, for your survey link. Thank you for being part of the conversation! 🌟
