Hello Putnam Parents and Families,
I wanted to take the time to thank you all for your unwavering support as we work together to navigate the rest of the school year. Our main focus is our students and their well being. We know that they will have questions and concerns about our school closing. I would like for you to know that our faculty and staff is fully prepared to support our students and families with any questions or any assistance with the transition for next school year. Our amazing Putnam Faculty will continue with our plans to support school activities, clubs and planned events. I know that most of you know I am between two campuses right now, we have a wonderful AP Interim Ms. Zarowski here at Putnam to serve you. I am only a phone call or email away. We have almost half a school year left together and we want our Falcon students to remain focused on finishing the school year on a positive note. I know we all have mixed emotions and opinions about Putnam closing, but at the end of the day our students will be looking to us the adults in their lives to reassure them that everything will turn out well. Our students at Putnam will be great at wherever you choose to send them next year. They are Fearless Falcons!
I would like to take this time to wish you and your families a very Happy Thanksgiving, be safe and enjoy your families. A reminder Early Release on 11/22/24 at noon. School resumes on Dec 2nd. Thank you all and see you soon!
Best Regards,
Melissa Ortiz (Putnam Principal)
