🦁🏁 Sunrise Mountain Families, We Did It! 🎉

We are excited to share that our campus attendance for the week of August 17–21 was an amazing 98.08%! 🎊 We surpassed our campus goal of 95%!

🏆 Attendance Champions:
⭐ Lower Grades: Ms. Velasquez — 97.78%
⭐ Upper Grades: Ms. Betancourt — 99%

Thank you, parents and families, for making school attendance a priority! ❤️ Every day a student is in school is another opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.

📚 90% Attendance Rule Reminder: Students are expected to attend school at least 90% of the school year. Regular attendance is essential for academic success, and excessive absences can impact a student’s progress and eligibility for credit/promotion.

Let’s keep the momentum going! 🏁 Our goal is to make good attendance a habit every day.

💙💛 Thank you for helping our Lions stay on the Road to Success! 🦁🏆

🌞 Helping Our Lions Start Their Day Strong! 🦁

For the safety and well-being of all students, parents and visitors will say goodbye at the gates each morning.

This practice helps us:
🛡️ Maintain a safe and secure campus by monitoring everyone who enters the campus.
🌟 Build student independence and confidence as children learn to begin their day on their own.
💛 Reduce separation anxiety by creating a consistent morning routine that helps students transition smoothly into the classroom.
📚 Ensure a calm, safe, and focused start to learning for all students.

Our staff will be stationed throughout the campus to warmly welcome, assist, and safely guide every child to their designated location.
Please help us with this important transition by encouraging your child to enter campus independently and saying goodbye at the gate. Your support and consistency will help build confidence and make morning arrivals easier for everyone.

Thank you for partnering with us to create a safe, positive, and successful school environment for all of our Sunrise Mountain Lions! 🦁✨
