THE 2026 JEFFERSON SILVA SENIORS LEAVE A LEGACY OF EXCELLENCE

(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT – June 10, 2026) — Jefferson Silva High School celebrated the accomplishments of the Class of 2026, honoring graduates from both Jefferson High School and Silva Health Magnet High School as they prepare to take the next steps toward college, careers, military service, and future success.

While students pursue different academic pathways, they share a common campus and a commitment to excellence that reflects the spirit of Jefferson Silva High School.

This year's top Jefferson High School students include:
• Azul Simone Avalos
• Susan Angeline De Anda
• Damian Nathaniel Martinez
• Natalia-Alicia Martinez
• Ryan Alexander Miller

The campus also recognized Azul Avalos as the All Jefferson Girl and Ryan Miller as the All Jefferson Boy for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the school community.

Among Silva Health Magnet High School students, the top 2 percent of the graduating class includes:
• Brianna Sarahi Araujo
• Yashmit Choudhary
• Itzel Adriana Ulloa

Silva Health Magnet also recognized Samantha Sheehan as the All Silva Girl and Angel Araujo as the All Silva Boy for their academic excellence, leadership, and service.

Under the leadership of Principal Edgar Rincon, Jefferson Silva High School continues to provide students with multiple pathways to success. Jefferson students benefit from rigorous academics, extracurricular opportunities, and career readiness experiences, while Silva Health Magnet students participate in a nationally recognized health sciences program that prepares future healthcare professionals through hands-on learning and industry partnerships.

"One of the greatest strengths of Jefferson Silva High School is the diversity of opportunities available to our students,” said Principal Edgar Rincon. “Whether they pursued a traditional academic pathway through Jefferson or specialized healthcare studies through Silva Health Magnet, our graduates have demonstrated determination, resilience, and excellence. Today we celebrate them as one graduating class and look forward to the impact they will make in the future."

Together, Jefferson and Silva students represent a diverse group of future leaders, healthcare professionals, educators, entrepreneurs, public servants, and community members who are prepared to make a difference wherever life takes them.

El Paso ISD congratulates the Jefferson Silva High School Class of 2026 and wishes its graduates continued success as they pursue their goals and create bright futures for themselves and their communities.
