As we wrap up this week and prepare for a busy week ahead, we would like to inform you that After-School Tutoring will be cancelled for the week of December 15–December 18.
Additionally, please note that Friday, December 19, is an early release day, and students will be dismissed at 12:00 PM. Please plan accordingly to ensure your child(ren) is/are picked up on time.

Hello parents! The penguin patch is coming to Tom Lea Elementary! We will be having our penguin patch December 15th through December 18th at 7:45 am to 4:00 pm.
We will be taking 💵cash💵 or we have zeffy for wristbands. **The only form of payment will be cash or zeffy wristbands.**
You can use the link to purchase your child’s wristbands.
THINGS TO MAKE NOTE OF:
* NO CARDS WILL BE TAKEN AT ANY POINT OF THE EVENT, wristbands or cash only.
* There are no refunds for the wristbands.

In line with continued safety considerations and improvements being implemented district-wide, students will be receiving identification cards that will be required to be worn on campus every day. Student IDs will help us ensure the safety of our campus by allowing staff to quickly identify students and maintain secure access to school facilities. Because this is a district policy, teachers and administration will be prioritizing that student ID’s be worn at all times when on campus.
Please help us by reminding your child to wear their ID each day and ensuring it is kept in good condition. If an ID is lost or damaged, please contact the front office for a replacement. Please know that if an ID is lost or damaged, a replacement fee of $5 will apply. Student ID’s are not go home under any circumstances to ensure each teacher collects the ID through daily dismissal procedures. If your child happens to take their ID home, please notify their teacher and ensure it is put in their backpacks for safekeeping and use at school.
