February is almost here, and that means Kindness Dress Up Week is right around the corner!
From February 9th through February 13th, we will be celebrating with a full week of fun spirit attire focused on spreading kindness. This is a wonderful opportunity for us Raptors to show school spirit, and celebrate the importance of kindness in simple, joyful ways.
We can’t wait to see everyone participate and show their kind spirits throughout the week. Thank you for helping us make this a positive and uplifting celebration for all!

Unidos Games Logo Contest. Must haves...the logo must say Unidos Games and must include the EPISD logo. It must showcase EPISD's blue and yellow color palette. Create a full color version and a black and white version, so it can be used anywhere.

100th Day of School 2026
What a remarkable evening! ❤️

Thank you to all of our Dr. Torres families for joining us at All STAAR Night, where we celebrated academic preparation, community support, and—most importantly—the brave history that connects this school to service and sacrifice.🇺🇸✨💙

Our Military Wall of Honor pays tribute to those who have served our country and the families who stand beside them. This special wall reflects not only the loved ones of our students and staff, but also the legacy of Dr. Joseph E. Torres himself — a World War II veteran who flew 13 missions over Germany as a bombardier and navigator and later served his community as a dentist and veteran advocate. His life reminds us that service to country and service to community can shape generations.

We are especially grateful for the creativity of our Student Ambassadors, whose artwork now helps decorate the wall and give voice to our shared pride, courage, and appreciation. 🙏🎖️❤️

This is an ongoing project — the Military Wall of Honor will remain on display and growing throughout the year. Families are welcome to submit photos anytime so we can continue honoring those who have served.

Thank you for your patriotism, your presence, and your support as we celebrate learning and legacy together. 🇺🇸❤️

Respectfully,
Ms. Chavez | Military Family Liaison | amchavez1@episd.org

All STAAR Night
Due to rainy weather, there may be a change in dismissal.
• Pre-K through 1st grade student pickup will continue to take place at the gated area on Rushing Road. The gates will be unlocked at 3:25 PM to allow parents to enter through the building using Door A5.
• 2nd–5th grade students will be dismissed at the cafeteria entrance on Sweetwater Drive.
If the rain ceases before dismissal, we will return to normal dismissal procedures.
Bus, Daycare, and car pick up lanes will remain the same regardless of weather conditions.
Thank you for your cooperation!
