El Paso ISD Superintendent Dr. Brian Lusk and a student engaged in rigorous academic pursuits.
The safety and well-being of our students and staff are our top priority at El Paso ISD. Due to weather conditions, the district operated on a two-hour delayed start today, Monday, Jan. 26, 2026. We will closely monitor conditions throughout the week and share any updates through our website, social media channels, emails, app, and text messages.
While weather may occasionally affect our schedules, our focus remains constant: ensuring every student reaches their full potential. To support this goal, I spend significant time in classrooms alongside campus leaders, observing instruction and engaging with educators.
At El Paso ISD, campuses are at the center of everything we do. From supporting our teachers to celebrating student achievement, our work is guided by the belief that strong schools create strong learners. In that spirit of partnership and continuous improvement, we invite families, staff, and community members to share their vision, priorities, and hopes for the future of the district during our upcoming Community Conversations in February. Your voice matters, and we look forward to seeing you there.
Thank you.
