El Paso City Council District 1 Representative Alejandra Chavez hosts "This Little Light of Mine" student art contest open to all K-12 students. Apply to District1@elpasotexas.gov. They are encouraging original, heartfelt expressions and want to see what makes each student's light special and how they see our community through their own eyes.
Key details: Contest will be broken up by grade level categories and expect to choose no more than 30 winners. Deadline for submissions is Friday, March 14, 2025 and each piece needs the following: Name of student, grade level, school name, contact information, time of piece, medium, and dimensions of artwork
