(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT — Nov. 20, 2025) — The Andress High School Golden Eagles are gearing up for a major playoff showdown this week as they prepare to face Melissa High School in the Area Round of the Class 5A Division II playoffs.
The matchup comes on the heels of Andress’ impressive 28–14 victory over Wichita Falls Memorial last week at Allan Sepkowitz Stadium — a win that not only secured the Bi-District championship, but also marked the first time an El Paso team has ever defeated a Wichita Falls ISD program.
El Paso ISD is incredibly proud of the Golden Eagles and all they have accomplished this season. The district stands behind the team and wish them continued success as they represent the community in the playoffs.
