Dear Barron Families,
Today, Barron conducted a spring PRACTICE lockdown drill. This drill is an important part of our preparedness to keep students safe in the unlikely event of an actual emergency. During the drill, students followed their teachers’ clear guidance of “locks, lights, out of sight” in every classroom.
EPISD Emergency Management was on campus to assist, observe, and evaluate our procedures. They provided valuable feedback and praised our quick response, the systems we have in place, and especially the students’ calm and responsible behavior.
Please take a moment to praise your child for following directions so well and helping keep everyone safe.
