Join us for Purple Stories: Art Through a Military Child’s Eyes

Come create, connect, and celebrate the strength of our military children—this is a special night just for YOU (active duty, veteran, reserve, and guard families)

• ✨ First 30 people receive a FREE canvas for their artwork

• 🎁 TWO families will win a Purple Up Barron Edition Tumbler

• 🧸 Students can also take home a plushie once registration is completed

💻 Need to complete your student registration? We’ve got you! Our team will be on-site with iPads to support families with:

• Returning student registration (required)

• Exit surveys (if not returning)

• 📌 Please bring a bill with you to complete the process

• ✔️ Registration must be 100% complete to receive a plushie

• 🍪 Snacks & drinks will be provided!

Barron Pioneers showed up and showed OUT for Operation Purple Power! 💜🤸‍♀️

Students with consent forms rotated through exciting stations including the balance beam, springboard jumps onto a crash mat, and inclined wedge mats for forward rolls, building confidence, coordination, and strength.

Together, we Purple Up to honor the strength, resilience, and spirit of our military children! 💜

We have had an amazing week with smooth STAAR testing, students learning in classrooms, students following PBIS expectations across the campus AND REGISTRATION REACHING 36.6%. We are in the top 5! Don"t forget Popcorn Friday tomorrow for all students registered! This is more than an art night—it’s a chance for our military children to share their stories, express their experiences, and feel seen and celebrated.

✨ Then join us again on April 23rd (4–6 PM at Dr. Joseph Torres Elementary) where both campuses will come together for:

• Student Art Exhibition

• Raptor Cheer performance at 4:15 PM

• Live reading of Captain Mama by Graciela Tiscareño-Sato

• Resource tables with interactive activities

• Book purchases & autographs available
