A few reminders as we head into the weekend...
Lockers have been assigned and students MUST bring two combination locks by Monday if they have not already. Locks are required to secure belongings in hallway and PE lockers.
Please be patient with traffic when dropping off and picking up students, only utilizing our marked traffic lanes. The safe arrival of our students and staff is our top priority.
All 6th graders will be issued a new laptop beginning next week. Please make sure they bring their current device with case and charger each day ready to turn in.

A reminder that students must be wearing a polo-style shirt in black, gray, or teal as part of the daily uniform. Brown Middle School spirit t-shirts may be worn on Fridays only. College shirts may be worn on Wednesdays.

Tomorrow is the first day of classes for students, we can't wait to see our new and returning Bulldogs! Our teachers and staff are excited to welcome everyone back to school, and will be available to assist and direct students upon arrival. Students' first period classes will be posted at our main and cafeteria entrances, and each student will receive a copy of their updated schedule in first period. There is no need to visit the front office for a printed schedule. See attachment for additional reminders. Have a great evening, we will see everyone bright and early tomorrow!

We hope you have had a fantastic and relaxing summer and are ready for our first day back on Monday! We can't wait to see our new and returning students! Doors open and breakfast will be served beginning at 7:15 am and the tardy bell rings at 7:45. Updated schedules will be handed out in first period classes on Monday.
Please review our Brown Middle School dress code, all students are expected to be in uniform. Remember that unnatural hair colors and facial piercings are not allowed.

On Saturday August 3rd (tomorrow) at 10 a.m. our Cross Country, Volleyball, and Football coach will be at the BMS Cafeteria to help upload their child's physicals, and get assistance with the new Aktivate APP. EPISD is no longer using Rank One! Bring a laptop and physical to BMS Cafeteria!
Bulldog Nation! We are excited to see you tomorrow at Open House! Open House will be from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. stop by the cafeteria to pick up your child's schedule, meet the teachers, and pick up your child's school supply kit.

As the annual tax-filing deadline quickly approaches, El Paso ISD students are offering a helping hand to people who are seeking assistance.
Students at Coronado and Irvin High Schools are providing free tax-filing services to the community through April 11 at their respective campuses. The students are all volunteers and receive guidance from their instructors and workers from GECU.
