STAAR Testing Dates – Important Reminder 📚

STAAR testing for all grade levels is coming up! Please help your student be fully prepared by keeping the following in mind:

-Encourage your child to get a good night’s sleep before each testing day
-Provide a healthy breakfast to help them stay focused and energized
-Make sure they bring their laptop and charger to school

We kindly ask that you avoid scheduling appointments on testing days, as this may cause interruptions and impact your child’s performance.

8th Grade Completion Ceremony save the date! Friday, June 5, 2026 at 9:00am at Brown Middle School 7820 Helen of Troy Dr El paso TX 79912. Student will dress to impress and families will enter through the Cafeteria Entrance. NO Balloons, Large items, or Noise Makers
8th Grade Dance. June 4, 2026 5-7pm at Cascadas Ballroom 1071 Country Club Rd El Paso TX 79932 Dress to impress. Students must attend school that day to receive a wristband to the dance.
Western Playland 8th Grade Field Trip June 3, 2026. Students must wear their 8th grade shirt and wear shorts and can bring a sling bag & water bottle with them. Permission slips will go home a week before.
