EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT – May 14, 2026) — The stars aligned at the Starlight Event Center on Thursday, May 14, 2026, as El Paso ISD gathered for its premier celebration of the year. In an evening filled with cheers, standing ovations, and heartfelt tributes, the district officially crowned the 2025-26 Teacher of the Year and Educational Support Personnel (ESP) of the Year winners. The event was also a celebration of all of the people who are making an extraordinary difference in the lives of students every single day.

“These individuals represent the very best of El Paso ISD,” said Superintendent Dr. Brian Lusk. “They inspire students, support families, uplift their colleagues, and remind us that education is ultimately about people and relationships. Tonight, we celebrate the heart of our district.”

During the evening, El Paso ISD community partners Rudolph Auto Group and Rudolph Helping Hands surprised attendees with a special giveaway for one outstanding educator. Through a live drawing held during the celebration, a vehicle lease was awarded to Jasmine Gallardo from Telles Academy. The surprise moment highlighted the strong partnerships and community support that continue to empower and celebrate El Paso ISD educators.
