Honoring the incredible mothers in our community who inspire our students every day. We are grateful for your unwavering support!
As we move into the second week of May, the energy across our campuses is palpable. With only four weeks remaining in the school year, every day and every moment matters. Together, we can continue supporting our students in being present, engaged, and making the most of the opportunities still ahead.
There are so many exciting reasons to be on campus right here, right now. From our attendance initiatives that will reward campuses with outstanding attendance through incredible end-of-year Block Parties, to individual prizes and recognitions for students demonstrating exceptional attendance. We want every student to feel that sense of belonging and excitement as we finish the year together.
And with the World Cup around the corner, El Paso ISD is proud to launch the inaugural Copa de District, a district-wide soccer tournament for elementary, middle, and high schools. We hope you’ll come out to cheer on our amazing student-athletes and celebrate the spirit, pride, and talent across our district.
Things to Know
The Big Reveal: Teacher and Education Support Personnel of the Year Gala

The wait is almost over! This Thursday, May 14, we will gather to officially name the 2026-2027 District Teacher and Education Support Personnel of the Year. This journey began with 71 campus-level winners and has been narrowed down through a rigorous interview process. We invite you to follow our social media channels throughout the evening for live updates and to help us celebrate these outstanding professionals who go above and beyond to spark curiosity and keep our schools running like clockwork.
Honoring Our Heroes: National Police Week

This week is National Police Week, and I want to take a moment to specifically recognize the men and women of the El Paso ISD Police Department. Our officers do so much more than protect our campuses; they are mentors, guardians, and a vital part of our school communities. Their presence allows our teachers to teach and our students to learn in a safe, supportive environment. If you see an officer on your campus this week, please join me in thanking them for their service and their commitment to keeping our "Golden" family safe.
Graduation Season is Around the Corner

We are just weeks away from seeing the Class of 2026 walk across the stage! To help families prepare for this milestone, we have launched a dedicated graduation hub on our website. You can find the full ceremony schedule, venue details, and arrival guidelines to ensure a smooth and celebratory experience for all our graduates and their guests.
