Good Afternoon Aztec Parents,
This is Ms. Hernandez calling from Guerrero Elementary with an important message. The University of Texas at El Paso
has reached out and asked that El Paso ISD participate in the Great Shake Out Earthquake Drill. It is an annual earthquake preparedness event that takes place annually. Other local Districts will be participating and have participated in previous years. Last year, this event took place during our fall break, and we were unable to participate.
Please be aware that we will be conducting the scheduled earthquake drill tomorrow morning, Thursday, October 15th at approximately 10:15. Teachers and staff have reviewed campus protocols with students, and we hope to have a successful drill.
