Dear Parents,
STAAR testing is coming up, and we want to help our students do their very best! Here are a few simple ways you can support your child:
Make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep the day before the test
Provide a healthy breakfast on testing days
Limit screen time the night before to help them rest and stay focused
Ensure they arrive at school on time and ready to do their best
Encourage them with positive words and remind them to stay calm and confident
Additional reminders:
Please do not send backpacks on testing days
Students may bring a small snack, which will be eaten after the test
Together, we can help our students feel prepared, focused, and successful. Thank you for your support!

Registration for the 2026–2027 school year will begin on April 1st. Our goal is to have all 450 current students fully registered before the end of April. Achieving this goal is very important, as it allows us to plan class placements more effectively and focus on enrolling new students and reviewing documents during the summer.
We truly need your support to make this happen and would love to be one of the first schools to reach 100% registration as quickly as possible.
We are including a flyer with step-by-step instructions to help you complete your child’s registration, along with a list of the required documents.
Please keep the following in mind when completing registration:
If documents are NOT uploaded, the registration will be considered INCOMPLETE.
Proof of residence must be from the month of APRIL.
To make this process fun and exciting for our students, we will be having a classroom competition! The first 5 classrooms to complete their registration will win prizes:
• 🥇 1st place: Pizza Party
• 🥈 2nd place: Popcorn Party
• 🥉 3rd place: Ice Cream Party
• 4th & 5th place: 10 extra minutes of recess
Please note that if your child will not be returning next school year, you may inform the school, and they will not count toward the classroom totals.
We encourage you to complete your registration as soon as possible to give your child’s class a chance to win and to help our school reach our goal.
