The Borderland Family Biliteracy Project will encourage parents and caregivers to actively
participate in their children's biliteracy development. Through interactive workshops, takehome reading kits, and family reading nights, the program will provide tools and strategies that make reading a fun and engaging part of everyday life. Please see the flyer attached for more informantion.

Dear Herrera Families,
Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade scholars will begin their end-of-year testing in April 9th, and the rest of the grade levels will start in May. This is a time to reflect, to show what they’ve learned, and to shine bright. We know how hard they have worked with their teachers all year, and now is their moment to apply all that knowledge, perseverance, and growth.
To our amazing students: You are more than a test score. You are creative, kind, strong, and capable. This is just one opportunity to show what you know—and we know you’ll do your very best. There’s no need to be nervous—be excited! This is your time to shine, to showcase all you’ve learned. You are Polar Bear Strong, and we are so proud of how far you have come this school year!
