Today, El Paso ISD campuses took part in Read Across the District, dedicating 30 minutes to celebrating the joy of reading! At Bobby Joe Hill PK-8 School, the day kicked off with an exciting performance by the Andress High School and Hill PK-8 bands and cheerleaders! 🎶✨
Special guests included Superintendent Diana Sayavedra, who read an inspiring story, author Phillip Cortez, who shared the power of reading, and Chico, the El Paso Chihuahuas mascot, who brought his own book to life with a fun, interactive reading! 📚

Halloween Costumes
Students may wear their Halloween Costumes to school on October 31st. Please see below for all the information you need to know about our school's celebration of Halloween!

Costume Rules 🧟♂️
1. Face masks and makeup are not allowed. Remember-learning will still be taking place.
2. Please make sure that your child's costume has nothing hanging below the ankle. Tripping and/or getting materials caught is a major concern.
3. Costumes must still comply with non-uniform dress days. For example: No cropped shirts, spaghetti straps, etc.
4. Please keep costume props at home.
5. Weapons of any kind are not permitted.
6. Students will still have Physical Education on the 31st. Costumes and shoes for students, should be selected with safety and maneuverability in mind.
