Back to School Fiesta

(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT — July 7, 2025) — El Paso ISD is excited to announce its third annual Back to School Fiesta, a districtwide celebration that brings energy, excitement, and unity to the start of the new school year.

The event will take place across the district’s 10 traditional high schools, with each campus hosting families from its feeder pattern. The goal is to strengthen the connection between campuses and the communities they serve, while giving families the tools and information they need for a successful school year.

The three-day celebration will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29; Wednesday, July 30; and Thursday, July 31 at the high schools listed below.

Each Back to School Fiesta is a celebration featuring games, jumping balloons, music, food, and more. In addition to the festivities, each event will include informational booths where families can connect with campus staff and receive essential details for the upcoming school year.

El Paso ISD will provide free school supplies for all students. Elementary students will receive individual supply kits, while secondary students will be provided with classroom sets, all during the first week of school.

“We’re proud to continue this one-of-a-kind tradition that brings joy to our families while staying true to our mission of partnering with our community,” said Martha Aguirre, Interim Superintendent of El Paso ISD. “The Back to School Fiesta is more than just a celebration it’s our way of building strong relationships from day one and ensuring every student feels supported, welcomed, and ready to succeed.”
