El Paso Independent School District will hold a public meeting at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at the El Paso ISD Administration Building, 1014 N. Stanton St.

The meeting will be conducted in person or via video conference, which will be audible to the Board and the public, allowing for two-way communication.

The public may access this meeting through www.episd.org/page/boardlive

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the El Paso Independent School District’s rating on the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST).

El Paso ISD JROTC Cadets proudly participated in two events honoring military service. 🇺🇸

At the Massing of the Colors, JROTC Cadets from Bowie, Burges, and Franklin joined veteran organizations, the U.S. Army, and the Boy Scouts of America to present their unit flags and pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of military members.

During the Rio Grande Honor Flight, JROTC Cadets from Burges and Jefferson gave Vietnam Veterans the heartfelt welcome home that they may not have received upon their original return from Vietnam.

🍂 Fall Intercession is Almost Here! 🍂

El Paso ISD will be closed during the week of October 13-17 for Fall Break. Accelerated instruction will be held from October 8-10 for students who are scheduled to attend.

Good afternoon, Silver Fox Families, Reminder that Monday and Tuesday, October 6 & 7, are regular school days. Students on an Attendance Improvement Plan shall attend as part of their signed agreement. Students on a Transfer will be reviewed once we return from break. Fall Break starts on Wednesday, October 8, for students who do not need to attend Intercession. Students invited to Intercession will attend Wednesday through Friday, October 8-10. Breakfast starts at 8:30am. Morning classes are from 9:00am-12:00pm. Lunch starts at 12:00pm. Afternoon classes are from 12:30-3:30pm. Transportation provided in the morning before classes and after classes in the afternoon. No lunch bus provided.
